Hi! I’m in love with the picture you’ve made with your own brushes, it looks like suns…
Could you please tell us how you did the background?

Lucia,
I left you a lengthy e-mail with the instructions on how I created the preview image. I also sent you a copy of the actual Photoshop image so you open the file and follow the e-mail instructions.

Lucia,
The e-mail I sent could not be delivered for some reason. Here are the instructions.
There are sites like http://www.GrungeTextures.com, http://www.TextureKing.com, and http://www.HighResolutionTextures.com where you can find some sweet images.
The steps I took to make the photo used for the preview image on the Leaves and Flower brush set were:
1. Open a new Photoshop image and fill the background with white.
2. Add a radial gradient to your background layer.
* I selected the options reverse, align with layer, 129 deg angle, scale 60%
* The colors I used for the radial blend were #CC9966 for left side and #FFFFCC for the right side.
* I did not use any blending options on this background layer.
3. Create a second layer. This is the layer where I added my brush images.
Use Layer Style> Blending Options > Linear Burn
4. Create a third layer. This is the layer where you apply your texture image. The image I used was kind of like a concrete texture. Use the overlay blending options to get the texture to blend into your image.
Use Layer Style > Blending Options > Overlay
That’s pretty much it. If you send an email to brushportfolio@gmail.com, I can send the PS file too.
